Common Scab Reduction

Common scab represents the greatest threat to a farmer producing quality potatoes. The corky lesions downgrade the quality of samples in all market areas.

Common scab is encouraged by alkali soil's pH. If a farmer can successfully acidify his soil, common scab should be inhibited.

BRIMSTONE elemental sulphur provides a farmer with a tool to acidify his soil.
